Tournament Leaderboard

If you are interested in the best Mac poker sites, chances are you will probably want to play tournaments. You’ll find plenty of great tourney players on UB, and the very best make it to the top of the leaderboards. In total there are four different leaderboards, and there is cash to be won on each one.

Many Mac poker sites use point systems to rank their players, and UB does the same. Players get leaderboard points depending on where they place in a tournament and the tournament’s prize pool. A simple formula is used to calculate points, and the same formula is used for both MTTs and SnGs.

To compete with the flash Texas Holdem sites, UB has decided to have leaderboards for the week, month, and year. The weekly version takes your best 10 results, and first place receives $1,000 cash. The monthly leaderboard takes your best 20 results, and there is a $14,000 prize pool for the top 10. Finishing in first place would net you $6,500. And then last but definitely not least, the leaderboard for the year considers your best 100 tournament finishes, just like with the PokerStars download. There is an exclusive freeroll for the top 50 players. 10th through 1st place receive cash. If you can place in 1st or 2nd, you will also win a WSOP Main Event seat!

If you are new to US friendly poker sites, you might want to try the SnG leaderboards. They are more friendly to new players since there are 3 separate divisions for different buy-in amounts. The Diamond division is for buy-ins less than $20. The prize pool for the week in Diamond is $1.5k and the prize pool for the month is $5k. If you play between $21 and $50, you belong to the Heart division. The weekly Heart prize pool is $3,000 while the monthly prize pool is $7,000. If you can stand to give up your Lucky Ace Poker download to dedicate your free hours the UB leaderboards, you might be the perfect candidate for winning the Spade division for stakes over $51. This division has a $6k prize pool for the week and a $10k prize pool for the month.

Placing well on leaderboards is a great way to make a tournament player more ambitious and excited to play. Maybe you should find some free poker training to become a stronger player. It will be worth it if you can finish in first place!
